No.  This is a professional postgraduate course and is not a Bachelor or Diploma.

Can I put the course towards my CPD / CPE?

Yes.  Most professional associations recommend that you should participate in educational activities that develop professional performance throughout your working life.  CPD / CPE is the acronym for Continuing Professional Development / Education.  It is a process of tracking and documenting the skills, knowledge and experience gained beyond your formal training on a continual basis.

As a qualified Homoeopath / Naturopath you have a professional responsibility to yearly undertake CPD / CPE to:

continually update your skills, knowledge and experience
keep abreast of latest developments within both the Homoeopathic / Naturopathic and general health sectors
further enhance the professional standing of Homoeopathy / Naturopathy within the broader community.

Which associations recognise the training for CPD / CPE?

Registered members may qualify for CPD points only for the Homeopathy component of the of this course (up to a maximum of 20 points per year)

ATMS (Australia):  Registered members of the Australian Traditional Medicine Association (ATMS) may qualify for 1 CPD point per 2 hours (up to a maximum of 20 points per year).  To qualify for full points, i.e. 1 CPD point per hour, members must complete a 100-word learning summary to be eligible for full points.  If no learning summary is completed, members can only claim 1 point for every 2 hours of attendance (up to a maximum of 20 points per year)

Other Associations:  Most professional associations require their members to complete a certain number of CPD / CPE hours each year to ensure competency.  CPD or CPE supports you to enhance your practical skills and knowledge and to keep up to date with your profession. Depending on your association’s continuing education policy, you may be able to claim between 10 to 20 points per 20 hours of training.  Please check with your own professional association regarding their CPD / CPE policy.
